Volunteers

As a voluntary organisation we would welcome more volunteers to assist in the development of this project.

We would welcome help in the following areas:

Events : We organise our own events:
coming up soon we will be holding an event for World Vegan Day (1st Nov)and another for International Human and Animal Rights Day (10th Dec)

Green guide : We are compiling a green and compassionate living guide to Plymouth; this information needs to be researched.

Website :We are looking to expand the information on this website and need help to do so.

Film Nights :The film nights are now on again, we need someone to organise the purchase of the films, and find suitable speakers.

Morsbags : we have formed a Morsbags Group who meet to sew reusable shopping bags from scrap fabric for distribution free to shoppers. The aim of this is to draw attention to the damage that plastic carrier bags cause and to encourage others to use reuable shopping bags. Why not join this group, its sociable as well as useful

Fundraising : In addition to organising our own fundraising events we are applying to grant making trusts for funding;
assistance with researching suitable bodies and completing the forms would be helpful.
Or you could help with the art auction or benefit gigs.
